Response to Resent Letters to the Editor Agua Fria Union High School District, Avondale Elementary District and Litchfield Elementary School District are asking for your continued support in passing the upcoming Override elections. Passing this initiative WILL NOT RESULT IN A TAX INCREASE. The state of Arizona requires that Overrides be renewed every 7 years. This election is to renew already established overrides and thus will not result in a tax increase. Passage of these overrides will allow the districts to continue the quality education that they have established during their long history. If the overrides do not pass the districts will be required to cut millions from their budgets.
